EVERYTHING THEY NEED

Thoughtful Dog Sitting Tailored To Your Dog

CALM WALKS. HAPPY DOGS.

Why Many Dogs Feel Happier In Their Own Home

For many dogs, there’s no place quite like home. Remaining in a familiar environment can help reduce stress, maintain established routines and provide a greater sense of security while you’re away.

By choosing in-home dog sitting, your dog can continue enjoying the sights, smells and comforts they know, helping them stay relaxed, happy and settled until you return.

Reduced Stress

Being taken away from home can be overwhelming for some dogs, particularly those who are older, more nervous or sensitive to change.

Staying at home removes the need to adapt to a completely new environment, helping your dog feel calmer and more comfortable throughout your time away.

Familiar Smells & Surroundings

Dogs experience the world through their sense of smell. Remaining surrounded by familiar scents, favourite sleeping spots, toys and everyday surroundings provides reassurance and helps them feel safe, even when you’re not there.

Familiar Routine

Dogs thrive on consistency. Keeping to their usual feeding times, walks, toilet breaks and bedtime routine helps minimise disruption and allows your dog to enjoy their day just as they normally would.

Less Anxiety

Changes in environment and routine can cause unnecessary worry for some dogs. Receiving one-to-one care at home helps reduce separation-related stress, allowing your dog to relax with familiar surroundings and a trusted caregiver.

Home Comforts

Whether it’s curling up on their favourite sofa, sleeping in their own bed or relaxing in the garden they know so well, staying at home allows your dog to enjoy all the comforts they’re familiar with while receiving the care and companionship they need.

Personalised One-to-One Care

Unlike larger care environments, in-home dog sitting provides dedicated attention that’s tailored entirely to your dog’s personality, routine and individual needs. Every visit is focused on making them feel safe, comfortable and loved.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Helping You Feel Confident Before You Book

From overnight stays and medication to updates while you’re away, find answers to the questions we’re asked most often. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, we’re always happy to help.

Are you insured?

Yes. Pawsome Pooches is fully insured, giving you added confidence that your dog and your home are in safe, professional hands throughout your booking.

Will you stay overnight?

Yes, overnight dog sitting is available.

We’ll stay with your dog in the comfort of their own home, maintaining their usual evening and morning routine while providing companionship, reassurance and attentive care throughout the night.

This is ideal for holidays, overnight trips or longer stays.

Can you feed other pets?

In many cases, yes. If you have other small household pets, such as cats, rabbits or guinea pigs, we’re often happy to feed them while caring for your dog.

Please let us know what you need when you get in touch, and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.

Can you administer medication?

Yes. If your dog requires medication during our visit or overnight stay, we’re happy to administer it according to your instructions.

During our meet and greet, we’ll discuss your dog’s medication, routine and any specific requirements to ensure they’re cared for safely and consistently while you’re away.

Can you look after multiple dogs?

Absolutely. If you have more than one dog in your household, we’re happy to care for them together.

We’ll take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine and individual needs, ensuring they all receive the same level of attention, care and companionship throughout their stay.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for school holidays, bank holidays and peak travel periods when availability can fill up quickly.

However, if you need a dog sitter at short notice, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’ll always do our best to accommodate your request where possible.

Can you send updates while I'm away?

Yes. We know how reassuring it is to know your dog is happy. We’re happy to provide updates and photos during your booking so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands.

Do you care for puppies and senior dogs?

Yes. We care for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs who may require a slower pace or additional support.

Every visit is tailored to your dog’s individual needs.
